Almost three years ago, I was looking for a new challenge.
I had previously worked in finance within a corporate environment. During my search, I came across heyData and immediately thought that this was a place where I could contribute meaningfully and help drive the company's success.
I have to admit, my expectations have been far exceeded. My journey at heyData began as a working student in the sales department. Today, I am the Team Lead for our Account Executives.

What would surprise us most about your job if we followed you around for a day? Walk us through your day.
The role of Team Lead for our Account Executives is a hybrid one. On the one hand, I support and guide my team members, and on the other, I actively contribute to acquiring new customers myself.
This makes my daily work dynamic and full of surprises. Every day, I have the opportunity to meet new people and learn more about how we can support them. Of course, I also take time to check in with my colleagues and catch up with the team.

How do you stay connected with your team, especially in a hybrid or remote setup?
We have regular online meetings where we not only discuss work but also share personal updates. This helps us stay connected and keeps everyone informed about what’s happening daily.
Challenges & Wins
What’s the most rewarding project you’ve worked on at heyData?
Helping to set up our team structure and processes has been one of the most rewarding projects. Knowing that this will have a long-term impact on the company's success is incredibly fulfilling. Additionally, welcoming new customers and guiding them on their compliance journey is a great motivation, especially as we work toward becoming the No. 1 provider for Data Protection and Compliance in the market.

How do you recharge during the workday when you need to clear your mind?
Taking time to recharge is important, but having the right structure in place to manage processes efficiently is even more crucial. This helps me stay calm and focused throughout the day.
