It all started with a great conversation with Linda. The application process at heyData was incredibly fast and straightforward, which impressed me. I was particularly inspired by:

When I joined, the Account Management (AM) department as it exists today didn’t even exist. I started as a Junior Account Manager and helped build the department from the ground up. Today, I’m proud to be the Team Lead for the AM team.

A Day in Your Life
What would surprise us most about your job if we followed you for a day?
No two days are the same, and that’s exactly what makes my job so exciting. My work is balanced – supporting customers and driving upsell and cross-sell activities. Customer satisfaction is always our top priority.
We maintain a personal and effective connection with our customers through emails and virtual virtual meetings via video. This combination brings variety to my day and is one of the aspects I enjoy most about my job.
You need to be a multitasker for this role, which is one of my strengths.
Teamwork Vibes
How do you stay connected with your team, especially in a hybrid or remote setup?
As I work 100% remotely, along with my colleagues, we have regular meetings to stay connected and share updates. I always make time for these interactions because they’re vital – both for building team spirit and for discussing the day-to-day challenges we face.
Throughout the year, we meet in the Berlin office for team activities. The last time, we went to a Christmas market and then had Chinese food – the whole team loves good food!

What’s the most rewarding project you’ve worked on at heyData?
One of the most rewarding challenges is improving customer satisfaction and experience by building strong customer relationships. This involves gaining a deep understanding of our customers’ business models to offer them a tailored data protection portfolio – including our new frameworks like NIS2, ISO 27001, and the EU AI Act.
What makes me particularly happy is the positive feedback we receive when our services and advice help customers feel secure and confident, so much so that they recommend us to others. We are truly a shield of protection when it comes to data compliance for our customers.
Mental Breaks
When you need to clear your mind, how do you recharge during the workday?
I have an incredibly cute, fluffy dog named Lio who needs to go out at least three times a day. Our walks help me clear my head and recharge for the rest of the day.

What’s one app, tool, or system that you rely on?
HubSpot is a game changer. With so many functions in one tool, it’s a dream come true for any Account Manager. I also rely on Notion to keep everything organized—whether it’s tracking tasks, managing projects, or collaborating with the team, it’s an essential tool in my daily workflow!

What are you most excited about in your future at heyData?
Our team is so motivated and full of energy, and I’m excited to see what we’ll achieve together in the future. All I can say is: We will rock it!
